How much do you charge for your services?
Often business brokerage firms charge upfront “marketing” or “packaging” fees. We do not charge any fees until your company is sold at a price and on terms that are totally satisfactory to you. Thus, our interests are aligned with yours, meaning we do not get paid until you get paid. It is also in our interest to sell your business for the highest price possible. We are performance based from start to finish!
How do I sell while maintaining confidentiality?
At Dayton Business Brokers, we take great pride in our ability to keep all information confidential. Any serious buyer is required to sign a confidentiality agreement to protect the seller’s interest. In addition, the buyer will be required to reveal to us his net worth to ascertain his financial ability to purchase your company. The first contact Dayton Business Brokers makes with the potential buyer for your business is through a blind or anonymous profile of your company. Your location is described in general terms as are the details of your company. Your company is never identified in the blind profile.
Can we assist in helping the buyer with finding satisfactory financing?
YES. We have connections in the banking community that run deeply. We want to control the financing piece of the transaction so we can achieve a closing that is quick and easy. We coordinate due diligence and closing with the seller, the buyer, all attorneys and accountants involved, and the lending bank.
